Scarpa / Veloce

A classic example of a soft shoe that’s extremely flexible and comfortable to break in.

They offer exceptional foot-to-surface sensitivity and are ideal for developing the sensation of gripping holds with your toes—the so-called “scraping” sensation—as well as the feel of shifting your center of gravity.

This is a pair we recommend not only for beginners but also for intermediate and advanced climbers as a training shoe.

They offer excellent performance and outstanding value for the price.

On rock faces, they’re ideal for situations where you’ll be using smearing techniques frequently, such as on smooth riverbed boulders.
