Length

An entry-level model of a thin-diameter rope that offers excellent performance, combining a certain level of maneuverability with durability. In addition to the conventional uncoated version, this model features the Dry Cover Unicoa, which enhances safety, durability, and water repellency. Passes the UIAA edge test.

Number of spools: 40
Impact load: 7–7.2 kN (single rope, fall factor 1.77, 80 kg)
Number of falls: 8–9 (single rope, fall factor 1.77, 80 kg)
Weight: 61 g/m
Sheath slippage: 0 mm Elongation
on impact: 38%
Static elongation: 8%
Standards: Complies
with UIAA-101/EN-892; PSC mark displayed

*Notes

Number of plies: The number of braided strands in the outer sheath. Fewer plies provide better abrasion resistance, while more plies provide better shock absorption (for ropes of the same diameter).
Impact load: A numerical value representing the impact force exerted on the body during a fall. The lower the value, the better the shock absorption.
Number of Fall Tests: The number of falls the rope can withstand using an 80 kg weight for a single rope and a 55 kg weight for a half rope, with a fall factor of 1.77.
Weight: Weight per meter. Weight is not proportional to rope diameter.
Elongation during a fall: The elongation rate when a fall with a fall factor of 1.77 is simulated using an 80 kg weight for a single rope and a 55 kg weight for a half rope.
Static load elongation: The elongation rate when an 80 kg weight is suspended from the rope (for both single and half ropes).
Sheath slippage: The amount of slippage between the core and the sheath.

[Unicore]

A technology that bonds the rope’s outer sheath to the core. It prevents the outer sheath from slipping even under severe conditions, without sacrificing flexibility. In ropes that have not undergone the
UniCore process, if the outer sheath is damaged by friction—such as against a rock edge—the sheath may peel away over several meters, exposing the core. With a rope in this condition, it is impossible to ascend or descend that section. Furthermore, with conventional ropes, if the sheath is damaged near the end, it may completely detach from the end. With a
UniCore-treated rope, the sheath does not peel or detach, allowing you to ascend or descend as needed to escape. You will never find yourself trapped.

[Dry Cover]

Dry Cover is a treatment that makes the outer sheath hydrophobic. It is not merely a coating; rather, it bonds to the molecules of each individual fiber (polymerization), resulting in exceptionally high adhesion.
It reduces friction against rocks and belay devices and makes the rope less likely to absorb dust and moisture, thereby improving the rope’s durability. It is suitable for climbing on rocky terrain.
