Traditionally, shoes have relied on tension at the toe and heel to transfer force, so to create that tension, people often had to choose a size that was quite tight and put up with pain in their toes and heels.

Evolap adds a midsole that supports the arch area from below and from the inside,

and by tightening a strap from the outside to the inside, it securely wraps around and stabilizes the central part of the foot.

As a result, force is properly transmitted to both the toe and heel without relying on the conventional tension, eliminating the need to choose an unnaturally tight size.

Furthermore, the Evo-Wrap increases the overall rigidity of the shoe, providing support for heel hooks. Since torsional rigidity has also been improved for side-mounted heel hooks, you can apply even more force.

In this Pro model, heel tension has been slightly increased compared to the original Sherman, making the shoe even less likely to slip off at the heel.

The midsole around the toe area has been adjusted to be softer, improving the sense of the sole of the foot.
