Drone 2.0 retains the gripping performance and high-friction rubber of previous Drone series models, and uniquely molded heel cup from previous drone series, while improving durability and fit. It features seamless, three-dimensionally molded rubber parts that prevent peeling from long-term use and reduce discomfort, making it the culmination of the technology Mudrock has honed over many years.
The LV model features a narrow last, making it ideal for those with slender feet, as well as women and juniors.
The combination of a 3D-molded toe box and heel cup made from Science Friction Rubber 3.0—which offers high friction, durability, and just the right hardness—is a unique feature not found in products from other manufacturers. From toe to heel, the entire shoe is encased in 3D-molded rubber.
Furthermore, the rubber sections of the sole, rand, and heel are seamless, and their continuous three-dimensional shape conforms perfectly to the foot’s contours, delivering exceptional comfort, superior foot-to-ground feel, and optimal power transfer. These are truly next-generation climbing shoes that demonstrate their full potential not only
indoors but also outdoors.
Despite this high level of performance, the fact that the price is kept lower than that of other manufacturers is a major plus for consumers. This is a pair that offers excellent value for the money.
*Regarding sizing*
Climbing shoes vary in shape—including foot shape and whether they have a down-toe design—not only between manufacturers but also among different models from the same manufacturer. Due to the nature of climbing shoes, which are designed to be worn snugly enough to allow the toes to curl in order to efficiently transfer power from the toes, even slight differences in shoe size or shape can significantly affect the fit.
Therefore, if possible, we recommend trying them on in person at a store to check the fit before purchasing.
Also, if you’re purchasing climbing shoes for the first time, try selecting a size similar to the size of the sneakers you usually wear (your actual foot length plus 0.5–1 cm).
Please treat the size measurements in centimeters as a general guideline only, and take the time to find the climbing shoes that fit you best.
